Write off

Regretfully I have today been notified by my insurers that my Pre Cat Griffith has been written off.I am obviously totally devastated.I have recently spent lots and lots of money on the car,and was sorely tempted to buy back the salvage,but the local lack of expertise in fibreglass repair precluded me from doing it.
The accident was as a result of having a rear blow out,which threw me off the road and into a boat causing fairly severe frontal damage.
I am under the impression that my insurers are shipping the car to the UK and it might be worth looking out for if anyone is looking for a project or a fixer

Thats sad news ... surely you could have shipped the car to the UK for a rebuild & driven back when fixed ? why do you need a local garage (apart form the cost of transport) ?

Great thing about TVR Griff's is that all parts are available.

I hate to dwell on your miss-fortune but hitting a boat ?? That sounds terrible & interesting in equal measure (sorry for asking but I'm just a boy !!)
