front springs/shocks - help needed quickly

Someone has hit Andrea's car again so its go to go for a full respray. Damage isn't bad just scraped all down the n/s, mainly the door and sheared the mirror off. Anyway, the MoT is due about the 20th August and it'll (hopefully) be in the bodyshop by then, so we took it in today and one of the front springs is split so fail. I was going to rebuild the Nitrons anyway so while its in the bodyshop is a good opportunty. I've got some old Gaz's but for whatever reason the springs aren't there. I' ve got rears with springs but unsure if they will work. I've wound them right off but still about 2" too long and I don't have spring compressors so i'm now stuck. Does anyone have any spare front springs and spring compressors or a set of spings/shocks I could borrow for 6 weeks or so while 1) we can get an MoT, 2) get to the Growl (assuming we still have it by then and 3) get to the bodyshop.
I'm in Redditch so nearer the better.
Now in panic mode as still a million an one other things to do before the Growl.

i've used the old rear springs I had off the Nitrons on the dampers. ABout 1/2 way up the thread now and still looking low. Will adjust again tomorrow.
Only got to do 3 journeys totalling about 75 miles and the new rebuilt Nitrons can go on.
