Any professional "ears" at the Growl?

Took out the pre cats on my Griff earlier this year and cannot help feeling it doesnt sound quite right and something may be blowing somewhere! i have tried some tubing around joints etc and cant find any leaks. Have even taken the y piece off again and resealed it but it sounds the same. It may just be my imagination! Any kind souls going to the Growl able to lend an ear and let me know what they think?

Supposed to be able to use a feather too but I've not tried it.

are you sure that its blowing? after removing the precats the pipe that used to contain them can sound quite loud, you can hear each cylinder firing, it may be that you can hear rather than a blown joint?

They do sound a bit 'Tinny' after removal in comparison with the cat's in... may be its this your hearing??
