Replacement glass for lower main beam lamp

Sadly I seem to have broken one of the lower lights. Does anyone know if I need a new unit or can the glass be replaced?

Most of the usual TVR specialists will have them in stock. I find Clever Trevor pretty good.

The replacements will have the correct lens pattern but may not have the original printed red / black Cibie logo in the centre of the lens which will create an odd look if you are a perfectionist. If you are you may want to buy a pair. see below.

You can also get thick plastic lens covers (carbodiscs ?) which protect the lights from further damage, I think they are available from the TVRCC, assuming you are a member. I did buy a pair but have yet to fit them.

A little off topic, but bl00dy hell, thats one clean Griffith, looks like new. Is it original paint or has it been resprayed?

The front end of the car was recently repainted by Option One to remedy the usual stone chips prior to sale. The car is in excellent condition all round with a full magnolia / blue hide interior, 29k miles and serviced annually by TVR specialists.

After a 3 hour round trip to the Growl on Saturday I realised just how good these cars are so will probably keep it.

Thanks to the Growl organisers for an enjoyable day.
