Picked up my Griff 500 & attended the Growl

Hi Guys

Just to say a big thanks to all that gave me advice on the griff, also for your time to give me exhaust sound demo's, etc,etc. Thanks to Clive.F for the goodies, Jason from Str8six for the usual top advice, Quinny the legend for his sound advice and test drive and to you all for your advice in general.

Hope you liked my new toy, Reg (M8 PEA) Imperial Blue with the detailed engine bay, oh, did I mention the Nut & bolt rerstoration!

Nice car LP, is it Mickey P's old car? I only glanced at the parked cars but thought it was and you mentioned the nut and bolt resto . . . In which case it nearly blinded me when I helped get it running again a few years ago

Saw it yesterday parked next to mine (R577HKO) also Imperial Blue. Put mine to shame and I think I'm going to be head in the engine bay with a scrubbing brush in my hand for a few hours before next year.

Morning Mr Johno, Glad you liked it, I have sold it to Chris who is a very nice chap and hopefully will take care of it. I'm so busy doing everyone elses TVR's I don't have time to use it which is a shame. Hows your Griff these days?

Doing a famous Griff at the moment, the one that Maclaren had to develop the chassis for TVR in the early 90's and a brand new 3000s which has never been put together or painted. Have a look at the site and you can see progress.

Apologies to Mike, for not given him a mention, after all this is the man responsible for the rebuild. Thanks mate for the fine example. I believe I know have the most difficult job in driving it and trying to keep it clean. Knowing me and how many thousands I spent on my T350c I am shure I will only improve the car as and when required.

Won't bother noting Mike's contact details as he has already do it, Good Man!

Mine's never been better, fully re-trimmed and re-sprayed, just gone thru 80k on way home from LM Classic and flying. Off to Europe (Fr,Sw,It) in it next mth, can't wait.

Thanks for the sound Quality demo matey. Very Very nice car and sounds the nuts. I have ordered a Cherry Bomb system for now, and keep the original manifolds and orinal Y piece for now.

But I can see a act sports manifolds and de-catt on the way.
