Firstly, a big thankyou to Andrea, Paul and the organisation team for putting together another GREAT weekend.

Just got back, having had a few (more) hiccups on the way home - more of that later, and thought I'd pop in to say what a fantastic few days it has been. Meeting up with some old friends and enjoying making some new ones too. Although I never thought I'd watch a Griff owner with a nipple ring ( you know who you are) buying the shirt off the back of a fellow Griff owner for charity then swapping shirts !!

Great night Friday, great night last night and some great days in between.

Oops, forgot the traders !! Also thanks to Rob (flying Banana) for returning my call this afternoon I was very impressed with your special pasty yesterday too Who would have thought you can actually buy a banana and chocolate pasty !!

Ditto, well done to all involved organising the Growl, it was a great weekend.

First time for me and great to meet up with fellow Griff owners and finally put some names to faces.

Do we know how many Griffs attended yet?

At my final count there were 113 griffs and 48 other tvr's but i left at 12 so there were possibly more than that.

I still went even though I don't have a griff any more, Sunday only though. Good to see old faces, not old as in looking old, if you know what I mean?

Anyway, put my barge on the RR, crikey it was noisy. Apparently there was a bit of slippage so could have done better.



Not too bad though.

Looks like torque was 390

Would also like to say thanks to all involved for there time and dedication, Without these people and the traders who make a special effort, events like this would never get off the ground for 1 year let alone for the amount of years the growl has been running. Me, Bruce and Gizza aka Cockney Paul had a great run home to Cornwall and time for a beer and bed.

Not too tragic. According to Gary's analysis it is down on BHP towards the top end as the engine is not getting sufficient airflow. The torque figure is good for a standard engine and shows that it is healthy.

I would do it myself, but not sure how. (not started a wiki before). Are we going to have the sound off results published, we know who won but would be interesting to see the rest of the field.
How about a RR results list that people can update too, like last year ?
