Removing Speedo/Tacho connections

Sorry, yet more questions about replacing my dashboard. 92 Griff. I've disconnected all the dials and connections (and labeled them up) except for the Tacho and Speedo. From these two I've removed the bulbs and the power connections, but I'm a little stuck with the connections that presumeably carry the data signals.

How do I remove these? Just pull/twist/? or something else?

If you trace the wires back in the loom you will find a simple connector. Just disconnect it there.
