Power steering leak

Advice wanted, got the Griff beginning of March . I have an annoying leak from the connections on the bottom of the power steering pump, which drips when the car is parked , on to the LH exhaust. Much smoke if not cleaned , and a potential fire risk. Led to believe "They all do that Sir" .

Not a TVR virgin , this is number 5 , but struggling to come up with a fix. Any Griff owners got a solution ?

Do you mean the U bend? New flexible hoses will cure it although a decent swaged U coupling is a better solution.

It is normally the U bend that develops a leak. If this is the case I know a number of owners including myself who have bought John Zubak's upgraded hoses:

Or just take your PAS hoses to your local hose supplier and ask them to produce the U bend 'swaiged' in permanently .. . They should be able to do it for you with out any problem and it'll cost a lot less than paying for someone else to get it done and then p&p to you . . .

Not seeking to knock the offer or the effort etc, but this is something you can get done locally very easily . ..

Thanks for the replies , have to admit to being a little lazy, have swaging tools in the garage , but was really looking for an off the shelf solution , washing off the manifold before starting is becoming a pain !!
