...after 10 wonderful years,
I've had some of my fondest memories in and around that car.
Been all over Europe in it, met loads of top guys and gals with it (and some bloody weird ones too btw) and it's taken a real wrench to finaly let it go.
Gone to a mate who will carry on the tradition and race / improve it and I have the first option on it should he sell it. I have a very strong feeling that it will be mine again in a couple of years.

Been looking at the Monster for sale on Classifieds for a while. If I'd have been in the right place at the right time it would now be in my garage.

Wow, looong time since I've seen that one. Listen to it go! totally unrestricted...404bhp on race fuel and 7.8k revs!!!!!! Amazing how fast the car is...and how slow I'm driving it Often look at this vid. One of my all time faves.

Honestly one of my favourate vids, sounds glorious. 
It's the same John Eales engine I used for racing.
5L race, cost £16k when new.
When I took it back for its first rebuild, John told me it was a "Sprint" engine and should have been fully rebuilt at 500 miles at that pace/revs. I did around 20K
JE said it was possibly the best 500 he'd built and was amazed I didn't detonate it!
Mike Caine also rated it...he remarked on it as a fantastic engine when he first drove it at Snett and every time he drove it subsequently. Still got that engine then Andy...
Was detuned for the Challenge to hit GpB (370bhp) but still really strong.
Its gone to a good home, so thats the main thing. REALLY didn't want to sell it, but divorce is MUCH more expensive.
