Window/heating switches

Chimaera owner on a mission into enemy territory...

Seeing as you boys have the same switches someone over here might have experianced the same problem....

The short version is I need a new window switch, the common thought is that they are Vauxhall but when you dig a little deeper....or take them out when they don't work you find they are actually a little bit different.

New ones are available from the TVR Parts people but I was just wondering if anyone has got to the bottom of the parts bin issue and found what they are really off?

I only found out Griffs weren't coupes recently....

why couldnt you see through your tinted windows that dont work

Isn't mirror tint the Griff norm......but on the inside....
Given up on a sensible answers now.....but if any of you have a window switch fail don't waste any time trying to source a Vauxhall part......

Similar is the key word, that Elan one is different, the outer body is a very different shape.
