Leather Treatment

Ok I'm due to pick up my Griff in a few weeks and i've got a few questions for you guys/gals

1. Which leather cleaner and treatment (needs a feed) do you recommend?

2. What body treatment (polish, cutting paste, wax) do you suggest.

3. Where's the cheapest place to get a set of zinc plated brake discs (turbo groove or the like)?

4. The upper ball joints on the front suspension have gone, where's the cheapest place to buy the parts from (or what car are they off)?

5. Where's the best (read cheapest) place to buy clear indicators and side repeaters? Also out of interest where's the cheapest place to buy front driving lights and headlights?

6. If I were to change to the 16inch spider wheels where (or what car are they off) is the cheapest place to get the 5 stud hubs from?

Sorry for all the questions and I am looking back at previous posts to try and find all this info but I'm having trouble finding definative answers so I thought I'd ask

Hi Dave ,
I'll take a couple of the easy ones.
Side lenses are from the fiesta and can be bought from Halfords.
Polish etc is really down to personal choice but don't use cheap stuff. I use autoglym products and have no complaints.

Hi Dave and Welcome to Griffith ownership.

Liquid leather Is great for cleaning and feeding the leather and filling them little whitch scratches you occasionally get.

I recently bought a p21s polish and wax kit that was recommended on here. Used it for the first time yesterday and it is brilliant! You can splash it all over your rubber and plastic bits and it wont stain!
and the shine is tremendous. If you look at the last 15 pics on my profile you can get some idea of the results, although it was cloudy yesterday and the pics dont do justise to the actual shine

I have found Autoglyms Leather polish works well on Japanese cow skin.

I got my side repeaters from Airspeedshop - 0870 2061010. They were £14.02 delivered but that was 6 months ago.

Yeah I suppose I did sound a bit cheap didn't I. It's just that I know alot of parts for Griffs are common with other vehicles so I was just looking at the most direct/best route to purchase the parts. Not looking to skimp on quality, i'd just prefer to do some homework and get the best deal.

OK, firstly, read this post from Steave Heath, its good advice:

And finally, the front upper-ball joint is from a Saab 900, the part number is on the above list somewhere.

They are A TVR part, originally form the tammora/t350 and the likes. I got mine as part of the KIT/Upgrade that the factory offers.

However Peninsula did fit some of the 19' spiders to a griff and how/where the hubs etc came from I know not.

don’t forget you need new disks as part of the swap, so why not upgrade to bigger disks at the same time, and to boot the TVR, large disks and badged callipers look Nice sat under the spiders..

Pebbledash -> is what happend to py paint job at the hands of a Nova kiddy, he decided to overtake me at speed in one of those roads, where the council has trued to stick chippings down with tar.. like its hard to overtake a Griff 500, downhill when its only doing 40mph, (to a chunck out of my brand new screen too)

mine was the first customer GRIFF done, and the second car done with the kit i think. the first was done for a customer by the factory and was a chim, (waits to be corrected).

Its a wheel and break upgrade there are threads in the griff section, regaring it and hopefully someone can post a link for you, But the kits is arround £1400 Plus fitting.
