Compression

Hi,

I am trying to find out the correct compression reading for my Griff 500hc with Serp engine.

Does anyone know ?

i think it 125 to 150 max... could be wrong

That does make some sense as the right hand bank are all reading 125.

a compression test with hydraulic lifters is only worth doing a comparison between cylinders, the more lifters bleed down will give a different result, if all are the same i would be happy regardless of reading.

I had a turbo engine that made more then that and it was low compression. I'll shout you tomorrow.
