Right - I need to sort the multi coloured spaghetti that resides in the passenger footwell.
There appears to be double the amount of wires that there needs to be, some not even attatched to anything.
It's p1$sing me off.
I'm particularly interested in sorting the immobiliser wires out as I'm convinced they are the source of an ongoing intermitent misfire.
Who, where, how can they be 'sorted' ?

When he fitted my alarm and boot release he was on the phone most of the day helping fellow strugglers. It can be a tad difficult as no two looms appear to be the same but he has a mountain of experience and importantly, patience.
I fyou can get it to him he'll do a top job but in the meantime give him a call. I'm sure he'll love me for saying it, but he's a top fella.

All the stuff in the footwell should be the Lucas 14CUX EFI stuff. Only 1 or 2 connections from it go to the immobilizer which is quite tidy up in the dash. There is a hot start kit from Mr Beer which may add slightly to the collection in the footwell, but that is all AFIK. Some of the empty wiring is for diagnostic connections BTW.
