Corrado mirror swap
Discussion
I know this has been covered before but.....
Had read that a forum member had been making the conversion blocks, but tried TVR Power on the off chance they had some second hand, it turns out they now make them and had a pair in stock.

Not cheap £45...each but my old mirror fell off, they arrived today and look ok. Going to follow the guide on the Griff pages but can anyone tell me if I have got it right about the hollow bolt method rather than drill a hole next to it, I presume I just need to drill through the blocks down the centre of the main nut? it's not realy mentioned, also is anyone using the modded old ecu method thats posted on here?
Cheers guys.
Ian.

The treaded rod is a good idea, would work well fitting onto car and not having to hunt for hole.
I wimped out in the end and went for a 10mm hole down middel which seems fine though not convinced by the adapters themselfs as mirros don't bolt down to the surface of the adapter and leave a 2mm gap even with gasket in place so looke like I'm gonna be busy with the dremel to make them fit.

Large flat file & finish on a sheet of glass to get them flat for the gasket to sit on was what I did.
TBH, now I wish I had glassed the moulding 3/4" higher to raise the mirrors slightly. The proper screws would then have fitted without having to be trimmed down
- so check those before you assemble on the car...

- so check those before you assemble on the car...Its a compressed area, so I'd just make filler up with inert powder & toss a few chopped strands in, not really like laying up sheets IMO. Screws & pipe sleeves should suffice to keep the screw holes free. I'd make an outer mould out of plasticine or the like and get the level just by allowing the final resin to flow level? Mask up the existing outer surfaces so that any spills can be removed easily.
