high clutch pedal

Hi all
Ever since i have had the griff (couple of years)the clutch pedal has worked high up its travel. Recently
replaced complete clutch but it is still very high to
the point where i think it is slipping. Was thinking of spacing the cylinder.What do you think? any help would
be gratefully accepted.

There's some adjustment in the pushrod that connects to the pedal that might help. Can't remember exactly how but I seem to remember that there is a lock nut at the pedal end that you can slacken off and then rotate the pushrod to shorten or lengthen it.
