Thanks to you lot for making me broke.

On Saturday I will become the owner of this

As you can see it is freshly painted in this years black (cosmos blue). It is in very good condition thanks to the last owner (Lake).

As you may know Im a fussy b'stard and am glad to have managed to find the right car just before summer (actually viewed it on the first day of BST!).

First upgrades will be driving training as recommended by so many PHers.
And clear the garage out! Started last night and realised how wide Griffs are! It only just fits!

All I have to do now is wait till Saturday

AT LAST!!!!!!!
See you at Donington then?
How much was your insurance and where did you go as you seemed just as fussy with that too?
Enjoy

Hooray What are we all going to talk about now? Glad you weren't too hung up on colour in the end as it's difficult enough finding the right condition and spec without restricting yourself to the colour as well.

When it really came down to it colour and spec werent as big an issue as condition and history. Thanks to Lake the car seems excellent.
I sure time and experience will have me both grinning at cursing at the Griff though

As for insurance I got a quote for £550 (approx) with Bell Direct for 8000 miles, social only. Includes European cover. Thats was using my 5 years P-NCB.
The golf TDi insurance is now £300 fully comp european etc etc

Dusty, I'm sorry you didn't take mine - maybe I can claim a close second - but I'm sure you'll love your new toy. Enjoy!
