my bonnet badge is looking worse for wear so i have looked into getting a new one....£78.54 without VAT from Raecetech Direct!! I also see racing Green do an aftermarket badge that's in an oval shape. i wondered if anyone has fitted this and if it looks ok as it's a hellava lot cheaper at £20 odd quid!
If Leven can't or won't do it you can ping all the resin off by carefully sliding a stanley knife under it where it has gone milky. It will fetch off most of the black stripe paint as it comes off though so you will have to repaint the stripes.
You don't have to be that careful with the paint, it will come off the chrome where you don't want it.
Let the paint go mostly off - it will take overnight as a minimum - then remove any excess off the chrome with your fingernail and wipe with a cloth with a bit of the thinners you need to clean the brush.
You will probably need 2 coats but no more.
If you put on more you struggle to get a get a decent finish and you can't fill the slots with paint because it shrinks when it dries.
If anyone has ideas how you can re-resin these I'd be interested to hear how (sorry for the hijack Laz)

Me too, both my black on gold badges are just plain gold now courtesy of the spray shop over tightening them when they put them back on 
Still could be worse they actaually Cut the threads off one mate's and glued them back on :fume:

We've had our gold one re-resined a few times but it don't last long and got sick of sending it off in the end. Apparently, the resin don't stick to the gold hence it peels off quickly. Not had the resin on for a long time now and badge still looks good.

Don't stick the TVR oval badge on your Griff, it is cheap ford tat and is a very poor quality item, get the original one refurbed.
