Dash ticking is it a bomb!!!!

Hi,

My 1994 Griff 500 ticks behind the dash when driving at intervals of around 10 seconds. It sounds like it is coming from directly in front of the steering wheel and I thought that it may be the speedo odometer but this is working fine. Has anyone else had this or can anyone help pin point the cause?

Mine does exactly the same... Its the odometer counting up the 10th's

For every 10 clicks the mileometer will click over by 1 mile

Put a straight through exhaust on that will sort it.

if it doesnt have a trip meter, I think this is normal. If you drive faster it happens more often and doesnt happen when stuck in traffic as its counting 10ths of a mile.
