Well, after nearly 10 years of being without a TVR I have managed to convince myself (and the family I've gained in the meantime) that it's a good idea to buy another one! Seems like a lifetime ago I had my 500 and I am very happy to say I've taken a few cc's backwards to move a few more bhp forwards by picking up Mike's 4.5BV this week 
Barely had time to drive the old girl since picking her up and the law of sod dictated I got rained on all the way home!
Hoping to get out and about with the car so want to apologise in advance for all the questions and favours I no doubt ask for!
My starter for 10 - weather proofing! Don't intend on getting wet but want to make the car resistent to the odd shower should I get caught out.
Having dried out the floor carpets and scratched around a bit I need some new door seals. Can anyone tell me which ones? I found this thread on the wedge forum and mine seem to look like "690" although the wedger states he used the snap-on "690A" style - any ideas?

Also, the 4.5 seems to have 1 uncut seal all the way from one door handle to the other - I'm sure my 500 was in 2 pieces and joined in the middle of the windscreen.
I'll also be getting some new roof seals while I'm at it - apparently the "newer" method is fitting a metal guide rail each side and sliding in a seal? I currently have what must be old style just glued on and they aren't perfect anymore.
Any do's and dont's about removal, cleaning and fitting all this lot?
