Fuel Hoses, Which Ones To Check ?

Getting worried re Fuel Hoses getting old and perished. If it goes up in smoke....

Which ones to check and where are they situated ?

The ones that seem to cause the most problem are the rubber ones in the engine bay.

The rubber hoses connected to the fuel rail on the offside of the engine. There are two of them the supply ancd return. They disappear around the back of the Plenum and connect to the rigid copper pipes above the bellhousing.

also worth checking the ones at the back of the car at the same time though

The return connects just below the O/S exhaust manifold on mine (96 500)
