Clutch Master Cylinder part number
Discussion
Hi - I need a new clutch master cylinder and was wondering whether this is a straightforward Rover SD1 part?
The car is a '92 4.3 pre-cat.
I understand that the slave cylinder is a TVR-only part (in terms of application).
Can anyone shed light on this and let me have the relevant part numbers.

Have a look at this thread, just replaced mine, paid £28 + vat+ deliv. Works perfectly.
Also a link to a Slave which is a standard part.

Check the thread on the pipe union is the correct size or you will need to change it or use an adaptor.

thanks for that - from reading through the thread it looks like the kit comes with a 5/8 thread and I need an adapter to convert it to 7/16. Is that correct?
PS - for anyone else with a similar problem, I picked up a tip for bleeding the system from my local garage. They advised me to fill up the reservoir with fluid and then peg the pedal back against the firewall over night and I got some pedal back which allowed me to get the car into gear etc.

MY Griff had a 3/8" Union, I needed this adaptor.

However it appears not all TVR's are the same, so I would check yours first before buying the adaptor which worked out at over £10 with postage.
I had the same issue on the slave cylinder , my union was 1/2" and the new slave I got was 3/8" I think, at present the old slave is still in place until I get the correct adaptor or modify the pipe union.
Also a bit more info and a word of caution in this thread
