Outdoor Car COver

Hi all,

I've picking up my forst Griff in a week and a bit and i'm on the lookout for an outdoor car cover.

The Monsoon item looks just the ticket ( http://www.carcoverzone.co.uk/monsoon-waterproof-o...), but are there any recommendations any of you can make?

corcoon covers are a better option, will not scratch, search carcoon

got one of those too.

you have to be very careful getting it off so as not to get dirt on the inside of the cover, because that just transfers itself to your hood. it's also much more of a faff to use than a cover. if you don't use the car that much, maybe it's not a bother, but i found having it in the carcoon put me off using it because of the faff factor..

Mine lives outside and I use the Leven Hood Cover which I am very happy with.

I was concerned with a full cover potentially damaging the car.

Why not use some bin bags sewn together?

I had a Weathershield HP cover thrown in as part of the deal from Fernies when I bought my car.

Hi Steve,

Never used Peter at Roath Park Garage, but I believe that many owners in the area do.

Mine is looked after by Stuart at ForzaWest in Chepstow. Can't recommend Stuart enough, excellent service and extremely knowledgable.

I'm in Caerleon so not that far away from you, what colour is your new car ? I'll keep my eyes peeled.

It's good to know i've got two close options though, Cardiff and Caerleon :-)

Stuart / Forza is in Chepstow, not Caerleon (not that far away but you'll never find him if you start searching in Caerleon ).

Iv'e just bought a Monsoon cover for my Cerb and I will Highly Recommend it, these are totally water proof and fit very well, Money Well Spent from my point of view.

Picked up a Stormforce one yesterday and just put it on the Tuscan.

The car's outside, so we'll see.

It does fit very well...

Sorry Mr Mojo - i meant Chepstow!! Doh!

I've gone for a Voyager item as it's fairly well priced and has an under car strap - useful in windy Cardiff Bay!

I looked at a Monsoon too, and that would be my next choice if the Voyager disappoints...

I'll try and get some of my own pictures up on here this coming weekend. I have a funny feeling the next few days will drag while i wait for pick-up day on Thurdsay...
