Speedo overshooting

When putting my foot dowm, as happens on occasions, the speedo overshoots, showing a much higher speed than i'm doing. When acceleration stops the speedo settles down to read the right (i think) speed.

I assume this could be a problem with the speedo sensor gap to the trigger wheel or dirt...Does this sound right? Planning to have a crawl under the car at the weekend to investigate.

What do you expect when you do wheelies . I can' help you on that one, could well be though, I was in a bit of a rush that day . Has it always been doing that?

hmmm, looks like fun to get to. yep, always done that for me. Finally thought I'd try and do something about it. Any other things done in a day you were in a rush I need to worry about?
