nitron adjustment-anti clockwise to make softer?

as the post says- can i have confirmation that turning anti clockwise softens the ride?

yep - clockwise is stiffer assuming that the shocks are the right way up i.e. the knob is at the top

Would it not still be clockwise if the shock was upside down

erm well i reckon if your shock is upside down then which way you turn it is the least of your problems hehe

Clockwise is clockwise no matter which way round.

The + & - on the blue adjuster normally give you a pretty good clue

As for saying which is the right way up ... Spring at the bottom - but it fouls on most of the rears that way IIRC.

For all the 'what shocks' folks you should always ask if they can be fitted inverted

I have the adjusters at the bottom on all 4 nitrons.

With Nitrons always count the clicks when adjusting from full hard not full soft.

They don't always by the way have + / - marked.

If you tap a hole from the other side, does it give you a left hand thread on your side? I was once asked this question by a 'new starter'... however, he did get us back when trying to work his electric drill from the extension cable that had a knot in it... It would not work so we told him it was because the cable was knotted! so he un-pluged it and took the knot out... and much to our supprise... It worked!!
