I heard you could get a sub-4 second 0-60 time out of a Griff 500 by using a Jaguar XK8 airflow meter and a few other tweaks - anyone tried this?

mark adams does a Bosch meter that does not restrict flow at all.

75/80 mm or so internal diameter, and will part-ex for your old one.

modern item, its even a kilo or so lighter.

how much it'll gain on its own is dubious...all the ones i know of have been done in conjunction with other mods. twin plenums etc.

the theory is more torque as less restriction to the same air flowed (i think!)

under £100 i believe but as i say they've been done wqith other stuff. best ask mark.

The other mods include chipping, modified plenum and in some cases new injectors. May give about 10-20 bhp depending. Won't get you that sub-4 second 0-60 anyway. Many manyt other factors come to play in getting that. like the fact you can't get the power down!
