Wipers are confused

Every so often my intermittent wipe shows a gremlin.. instead of wiping 1 full cycle then parking back, they do 1 and a bit; any thoughts?

I have exactly the same (occasional) problem. Would appreciate hearing if/how you manage to solve it.

Sounds like your park switch on the wiper motor has gone a bo**ock. Not expensive but awkward to change.

Mine did exactly the same thing a while ago, read the bible and cleaned the multi connector to the wiper motor and has been fine since, excellent book that

Grrrr couldnt get the little bugger off.. so did some nice under bonnet cleaning instead to cheer myself up.
