So what do you do with 450bhp and nothing better to do with your time?

Took my brother in law to Cannock to pick up his later classsic car purchase,then acted as tail gunner until he got to his new home in Denbigh (sp?) somewhere in north wales. Then... drove back down thru Wales, what an awesome trip, now i see why everone raves about these roads

t that thing is quick when you overtook those cars at 4:03 in the second video. Yes I recognised that road too. Went on a drive last year along M55 north Wales, down to Betwys-Coed (or what ever it's called) and along that road towards Wrexham and then home to Cheshire. Was suprisingly quiet and enjoyable even though every plain van I passed made me wonder if it's the BIB hiding in them! Not started mine for 3 weeks now but the forecast looks good for Sunday, all I need now is and excuse.

the satnav told me to take the second exit at the round about...as I go past the turning you can here me cussing "F...! what eff'n roundabout?" If Id known you was in that neck of the woods Quinny I'd called in mate

Nice one Hamish, sounds great and about time. Nice drive through a beautiful bit of countryside, I assume you had the roof on. Got your brakes fixed then! Have now fitted biiiiiiiiiig charger and waiting for final mapping session. Massive power differential over standard unit and hoping to get well in excess of 500bhp, will be awesome. Will keep you posted. Chassis is stable and have now fitted the new Gaz Mono shocks with a vast improvement over previous units. Stays stable yet absorbes the ruts and bumps unlike my previous shocks. THIS IS THE ONE YOUR WATING FOR! Spa next year?
Hey Colin, I was wondering whether you got the new charger yet...if it makes that much difference before mapping, it looks like I had better start saving pdq.
I used this trip to finish running in the engine so the shift light was set a little over 4.5k rpm the whole journey, mind you driving on all this salt it would have lit the tyres up at anything above that anyway...lol.

Your car does sound good and healthy. Who said put music to it! Must be a Chim driver. Hope to get car mapped in January now, as this month seems too difficult. Nigel is mapping his 5.4L with new charger shortly, so will be interesting to see what results are achieved. Problem is they cant keep it on the rollers. Nice problem. Keeeep safe when out with the white stuff.

It was all done on part throttle otherwise it would just light up the tyres especially on cold T1-R's which have far less grip than the tripple 8's.The Supercharger doesn't really come to life until you go other 4.5k which was when i was shifting. Boost starts ramping up from there and by 5.5k you can really here it whine every othe the engine roar

Well fitted the larger charger, ran it in and now ready for dyno, it must be moving more air on tick over as the plenum is whistling. Either that or I have a small air leak, didn't hear this on the smaller charger.
Need to speak to act about position of lamda probes in manifold as mine go into fault on startup due to moisture collecting in the probe tip.
