Water temperature sensor replacement

Hi,

Has anyone replaced the water temperature sensor recently. I have found the sensor location, behind the dizzy and under the inlet , but it looks like a right bugger to get to without removing the dizzy ?

Any ideas ?

You need a deep socket to get on to it, no need to remove the Dizzi.

Apologies, I didn't make it clear that this was a the temperature gauge sensor
not the ECU temperature. The temperature guage sensor is behind the dizzy and below the inlet chamber.

Any ideas ?
