HELP!!!!

Fuel pump not priming ('99 Griff 500)................ I have changed both Bosch relays (like for like) in the footwell, checked the fuses (2 and 13) - but still nothing!

I have banged the passenger side dash hard - after advise!!! Still nothing.

On turning on the ignition, I can not feel anything happening ionside the relays and there is not "click" from behind the passenger dash suggesting the immobiliser has disarmed - so I am thinking maybe the inertia switch................. But I can't find it!!! Opened the glove box to look behind but cant see anything looking remotely like it.

Could anyone give me a clue?

You can't see the intertia switch Kevin, stick your hand above the glovebox and have a root around.

Have you checked you have 12v at the pump?

Hi Barreta - have got 12v at pump - I will make like a gyno and see if I can find the switch, many thanks for the tip!!!!

Have had a good grope around and cannot find anything that would appear to have a switchy-type thing on it - I know they are all different, but could someone give me an indication where it might be found?

Mounted vertically directly behind glovebox, centrally, on bulkhead, not visible.

On mine it has a rubber cover over a rocker switch.

To reach, place hand into glovebox palm down, fingers then rech over the back and should find a switch of some sort.

Some are push button type as well.

Taking glovebox out is easy, 2 x 6mm allen key button head bolts in corners are the hinges, just undo em and get out of way.
