URGENT - 2 questions re wing mirrors

All,

It's been a long time since my last post, as my Griff has been running like a dream .. yay!

I have a 1996 serp.'d griff in silver and this winter has been less than kind to my beauty causing me to post these 2 questions:

1. Where can I get hold of a pair of wing mirrors for my car?

Why both? the passenger side mirror has snapped off (internal structural failure) when I removed my car cover last week :-(;
The driver side mirror glass fell off and smashed when I found the mother of all potholes on a london road (Anglers lane, Kentish Town) the week before - double :-(

2. If I can get the wing mirrors, and I have read about the Racing Green's service (what's the cost?), how do I get the heated mirrors again? I only seem to be able to find the unheated replacements about.

Any help with both gratefully received

The door mirror is attached to the door via an aluminium mirror post. This is not part of the mirror and is designed to break as a sacrificial element of the door/mirror construction. These cost about a tenner ( I think ) from clever trevor. It is more likely that it is this that has failed. All described in the Griff bible.

Biggles, the pictures from the link are exactly where mine has broken. I shall order the base mount from Clever Trevor and try to fix it.

Some people have managed to repair the internal broken parts....depends which bit broke.
Lots of info. on the forum about re-fitting mirrors and the elusive grub-screw. Good luck.
