Adjusting the door fit? The quest to end leaks...

Hey chaps.

Picked my car up today after the snow and monsoons FINALLY let me get to Austec and back dry! Anyway, having had the door and roof seals replaced in an effort make the car rain proof I am looking around for any other potential weak areas. I know most of the usual suspects but it was quite cold today and I noticed quite a rush of cold air coming in past the seal above the drivers door speaker where the door line runs towards horizontal.

Obviously with new seals I know it's not them that are flat/split so it seems the door isn't fitting snugly enough - a prime spot for water given the curves on that part of the door! Is this sortable? The door shut seems fine, as does the release and catch etc so it's not visably out of sync. Can it be adjusted to just fit closer to the body? Not messed with the door hinges etc before and not sure I want to!

If you feel it would be solved if the window itself was a little higher, it can be adjusted up and down by turning a screw, need to slip a long screw driver down the inside window seal and find the adjuster. There is a section in the bible that helped me do this, the pics are handy to know where the adjuster is.
