Well I actually let the Girlfriend have her first drive of the Grif at the weekend 
, However she is not very tall and has found her legs a bit short! Cluth & Brake not a problem - since these seem to be adjustable - but the accelerator seems fixed.
Does anyone have any suggestions ( I know - a girlfriend with longer legs
), can the accelerator pedal be adjusted?
On the plus side, it means she can't press too far down on the accelerator

IIRC, reading the 'Bible', there is some adjustment possible on the loud pedal but its not as simple as the clutch / brake arrangement and probably not enough in this case.
I was expecting Jigs to suggest nailing a bit of 4x2 to the pedal

Poor old prince, all this babble is no good to him at all! 
The accelerator is adjustable. DustyC is on the right track - there are some bolts where the assembly is mounted that you need to slacken so that you can move it, then you have to adjust the throttle cable once you have found the right position for the pedal.
In my opinion it's worth adjusting the pedals even if you haven't got short legs - I found it really helped in terms of comfort, heel and toeing etc., especially as the steering wheel isn't adjustable for reach.

I adjusted my brake pedal for heel and toeing on the first day of ownership.
I also adjusted my clutch pedal further back but it now hits something when fully depressed.

Well a cushion is a quick fix that is done in a second, albeit not pretty unless it matches the seat colour.
I didn't know you could alter the accelerator pedal, but even if you can, how long is it going to take you to adjust all three pedals - and the throttle cable - each time the girl wants a go? The supermaket car park is not the best place the grovel around with spanners when she fancies driving home.
If she was the sole driver, of course, then that's different.

I was guessing that once the pedals were OK for her the bloke (excuse the name) could just move the seat further back to accomodate. ALthough then he might not reach the steering wheel comfortably.
Maybe longer seat rails? I dont know if thats possible though, the ergonomics may be all out.

Thanks Gooner - Will look at this this weekend - either that or find some blocks of wood
