What's the torque on the CV joint bolts

I'm now putting back my drive shafts and looking for the torque to do the bolts to... Having search previous post on the subject, I'm coming up with 2 options... Firstly:-

torque setting to use on the CV joint bolts is 32-35 lbft, see: www.thegriffithpages.com

torque bolts to 45 lb/ft as TVR spec...
(again from a Chim post but unsure of TVR origin quote)

Looking at other torque figures for this size of bolt 45 Lb/Ft looks okay... and they were on very tight?... What's your thoughts on what they should be?... Has anyone ever pulled threads out overdoing them... It's gauranteed I will if i give it too much!!

I`ve gone for 35lb ft on mine as per the torque list on the Griff pages. Having said that i havent yet driven it to test. I am sure i read a thread on here where Quinny did his up to this after his refurb and they have been fine.

Yes... just looking at a few data sheets etc... 33 / 35 does appear to be a 8.8 bolt (HT) spec for torque... Where as cap screws appear to be more at 45 ish?
