There're loads.

I use Manning UK who are always the cheapest for me. It might pay to become a member of the TVR car club. It's a recognised club with many insurers offering better deals for club members.

I'm with Classicline Insurance.

First year was £320 with £250xs for 5000 miles and agreed value on the car if it got mashed or nicked.

I had to get back to them to increase the ageed mileage. Their next band was 7500 miles for which I paid an extra £58, which I didnt think was too bad.

Classic Line - they were (by far) my best quote but limited mileage and obviously as second car

fk email....... get on the phone and make a personal connection... I first made email contact with insurance groups when I got my first TVR....big error. Get on the phone n chat with them as you can get the quote to suit your needs, not what they think suits.

Been with Manning a few years now and very helpful. Make sure you go with a specialist and not one from moneysupermeerkat.com or similar as they don't offer that personal service. you need to go with someone who understands the cars, modifications and value as well as being able to authorise the use of good GRP repairers, should you ever need them.

Mannings are not always the cheapest for me but are generally fairly close. I have stuck with them because of the way they dealt with the problems a few years back when the underwriter they were using went bust. Very helpful and professional, also I like to think we are keeping a smaller organisation going where you speak to a person in the UK not computer in a far distant land.
