Battery flat, alarm issues

Foolishly left the car a couple of weeks, but did not plug in the trickle charger, so ended up with a very low battery. Have plugged in to charge now, but the alarm has gone off and red light flashing in the car and i cant turn it off with the plipper, any ideas?

Disconnect the battery then reconnect and press the key fob immediately afterwards assuming you have a meta alarm this should sort it if my memory serves me right.

+1 for disconnect and reconnect battery and press remote, that is what is in the Meta instructions.

Thanks i will try that, although its a 92 Griff and does not have the Meta alarm.

Sorted thanks, the only difference is dont reconnect the battery until the light on the dash for the alarm goes out first.
