Because he's a thorn in my side. His 'humour' riles many people and I get loads of complaints. I've got better things to do with my time

His usual dry humour seemed to be missing in the scooter thread!! A step too far perhaps!

I think everything he types has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
If he didnt apply to the serious threads he'd be OK.
I could understand his point of view on that thread but then he pushed it too far.

I do think there are many people that take PistonHeads forums far too seriously. Jigs is just the opposite end of the scale to them.

Thats not to say I dont find PH very useful (socially and advicedly(made up word)). If it wasnt for PH Id probably still be trying to find out details of the drivers mat carpet thread of a Griff 500 to check the texture matched my shoes!

I realise that he's trying to be funny, but too many people don't get his humour and find him tedious.

I have volumes of information on the carpet colours, materials, textures, glues, smells and sheep from which the wool came.
But only for the S series and Griff

Took me a while to understand he was trying to be funny.
Sometimes he is but most of the time its personal attacks and thats not good. Its the one thing which ruins PH.

Although ribbing is a different issue. Its knowing when to stop though.
For example, all those b'stards that say Im a Griff anorak should be sin binned too. But then it would only be me and I'd be lonely! (just kidding )

Are you declaring yourself anoraks?

I fitted the anti lean-in-the-car-after-every-time-you-get-out-and-forget-ther-is-no-boot-button device last night.
Good arent they

I took the boot carpets out and fitted it properly too.
My boot says "ASD" or "ASQ" on it above the petrol tank. Is that the initials of the bloke that made it?

I noticed in factory pics that some of them had aliens sprayed in the same place.

I think a few people on here are far too serious. They should chill out and take Jigs's humour in the manner it is intended.

Cant you see that the more of you that get wound up by him only feed his sense of humour even more.

The PH forums wouldnt be as fun without him and his rantings.

Ted - I think we should have a 'nerd bin' and a 'get a life bin' too.

I agree that some people take the place too seriously, but Jigs also needs to understand that in a community as big as this not everyone is going to get his sense of humour.

For those that do, great. For those that don't he creates a lot of hassle for me.
