Interesting article in this month's sprint on a new Griff/Chimaera chassis. The thing I found most interesting was the use of the acronym OEM 24 times . I thought TVR had ceased trading so few genuine OEM parts are available and certainly not a chassis. I could be wrong but it strikes me that, if a new jig has been built by anyone other than the originating company then it is no more OEM than any other Griff/Chimaera chassis on the market.

I was a bit confused by the article as I was under the impression that Sportmotive have had an 'OEM' chassis available for quite some time now:

Sportmotive have a very good chassis but they have never claimed that it is OEM, OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

I think its just some of Dom`s publicity hype, I think Sportmotive have been doing chassis for some time now.

Admittedly the Press Release in Sprint does suffer from the over use of the OEM term; but from the leader I think the inference is to a chassis of 'OEM quality', also wasn't TVR Power an integral part of the now defunct OE Manufacturer and has the right to include TVR in its company name? In any case as a Griffith owner I now have far more choice if and when it comes to a chassis restoration.
