I am looking for a project car.
Could be accident damaged or an MoT failure. Engine problems not an isuue. An abandoned rebuild is another possibility. And I don't mind if it is cat c or cat d registered! I know the normal advise is buy the best you can afford, but I want to create a decent car from an unwanted heap and prove that it is financially viable.
Am I crackers, or do others believe this is possible?
Does anyone know of a suitable basis for this experiment?

I have been offered two Griffiths, by owners who have taken good cars appart, bought expensive goodies and now haven't the time to reassemble them. Unfortunately too expensive for me.
I have also been offered a Chimeara which is Cat C repaired, and has now failed the MoT on outrigger and wishbone rot. Shame its not a Griffith, but may be worth a punt!.
What do people recon it would be worth if it was a Griffith?
And is there such a Griffith out there looking for a new home?

Both Griffiths seemed to owe their owners very significantly more than £15K. One needed lots of engine bits fitting and then the rolling road tuning to deliver the promises. The other needed new suspension and brake parts fitting and had new expensive wheels on five stud hubs.

Do you have a view on the questions at the end of my last post?

I know of a somewhat tired Cerbera with no engine that may be available for sale. Contact me if interested and I'll find out more details.

Did someone buy that shed TVR DEAN had advertised in Northumberland? It was a 430 and I think he wanted £6k for it.
