Got my Griff back today after a 6.00am start and a train or four later to a very damp Crawley.
It went in for a service and clutch down on power and misfiring like a pig, but one new cam and one new bottom end later courtesy of V8 Developments, it feels fantastic.
Even the awful conditions on the M25 and sitting in the post crash party queues from 2 accidents I didn't once think about how much money I had just spent, only how different the car felt from how I remembered it.
Thanks again to all the boys at Austec, top job.

Saw yours there Nick, looked good, what did you have done?
Podie, it was your article "on the rollers" that got me in touch with Austec as is probably true of many others on here.
Cheers boys

They did the £350 service, needed new rear shocks, fixed leaky sump, strengthened the bonnet where it had a small crack, rehung the door mirror, wheel alignment, & a few other bits.

I had told the wife it wouldnt be too bad this time...got that wrong! The rear shocks were an unexpected treat but worth the money.

Not sure Harry - I've been feeling a bit wobbly this weekend...but the wife & friends think it could be RO fatigue!
