Has anybody out there got the download of www.thegriffithspages.com (supplementary parts etc etc) This valuable site has been corrupted and no longer accessable. Present Griffiths owners would welcome its rediscovery.

I talked to Simon about this a little while ago, his work and home life is mentally busy rather than it being that he's out of love with Griffiths having swapped to a AM V8 Vantage.
I quite enjoyed documenting my various tinkerings for him so its a shame IMHO to see it die but I know there was a technical problem and a huge amount of the data has been corrupted and lost.

I'll see him again in a fortnight and let you know what is what.

Sorry guys. My passion for the Griffith hasn't been lost. I just haven't had the time to carry on trying to get info moved over from the old site to new.
The old info has become inaccessable for some reason too. :-(
Barretti has offered to help and I'll be seeing him in a couple of weeks and will hopefully give him acess to help.
Also if anyone is familiar with Joomla sites and it's workings and would like to help then please contact me.
It's bloody frustrating as I have put alot of hard work and time into the site over the years along with the great information submitted by you guys.

What you created was an invaluable resource for the Griffith- from standard maintenance stuff, alternative part lists to good mods. Maybe if you need assistance should the TVRCC be giving support?

Of that there is no doubt, and it is much appreciated by us all.

I know that if page layouts, text and content can be retrieved from the old site it'll save a great deal of time and effort when transferring to the new site. But if some of the content is irretrievable, could we not inform/contact past contributors and ask them to re-submit any documents they may have. Maybe have a 'sticky' at the top of the Griffith forum asking people to PM documents to one of us so that they can be collated? I don't mind doing this myself. I have no experience of Joomla, but I could always convert the documents into basic html layouts and then forward them to BB or Barretti. Just a thought.

Eddie, did we speak at BSG last August? I own the factory/press ocean haze car and you asked for some info but had a few shandies since then.

Yes Paul it was me. Nice to make contact again. My Ocean Haze (the best TVR colour)is back on the road this month. The helpful guys at St Hellens supplied me with the touch up paint. Regards to your good lady and the white Griff?
The guided bus is still not/about to run!!!! See pic at Duxford last year. See the Essex and Harts TVRCC invite for this year.
