Stretched myself to buy her. Within 2 months I had to renew cams and vernier gear, skim heads etc etc

Then it got vandalised...


I just couldn't afford it all. What's gutting is that only a short while later I got a new job, more pay and could have done.

Oh no that is terrible, what low life scum. TVRs are very rarely targeted by vandals so guess you were unlucky. That is very unlucky with regards to the engine too. Griffs very rarely throw up big bills unexpected if they are well maintained. I don't think many people on here could afford all that work so shortly after buying.

Yup. Sold it to Fernies. Real shame because it only needed a £150 part to be perfect. At that point I had no money left and HAD to get rid.

Will certainly have another sometime but at the moment it's all about debt repayment.

I've learnt the error of my ways.
