Before I get around to my '95 Griff 500 down to Webbs (TVR Bodyshop) to talk to them directly. Does anyone know whether they can install the later, larger type single headlight units TVR fitted as standard to the more recent Griffiths. Instead of the Tuscan style lighting mod they usually do - which, personally, I think looks daft in the Griff.

I dont see why not its only a slightly bigger lamp in size.
I believe if you also run seperate wires to both front lights from source you will get brighter lights.
I think Mod-wise do a Kit.

and whats wrong with the twin light conversions

And while you're there, ask if you can get square-dip beams, so that you don't have to fit deflectors for the continent. (On the twin light one, that is).

i think the tuscan style lights make the griff look 10 times meaner and better. especially when they are blended in with the bodywork. none of those black outlines.

I am in possession of a Griffith with the larger lamps and can confirm that they really do not make that much difference, I have added David's brighter lights kit which has helped with better bulbs, but even his car has a the Tuscan conversion done and I am seriously considering tis when I have the front end resprayed ...

DON'T DO IT!

I think it spoils the looks of any Griff, but to ruin the originality of an SE.............
