The 4.5 BV Griffiths

This is more a curious question on behalf of Nick. Basically, he knew that there were a very very limited number of Griffiths built with 4.5 litre RV8 engines, but is unsure of their performance/power etc. Is it true they were full race spec units running over 340bhp, and are infact the fastest of the Griffiths? Also, anyone got any pictures or videos of one?

I am not sure of the exact internals (if they were all the same even - the bible quotes 2 possible cams for a start) but they are accepted as being the most powerful griffs to leave the factory as I understand it. Exactly how much power is probably anyone's guess and down to individual cars.

Basically the 4.5 Griff had a 450 SEAC engine, 4441cc, kent 234 cam, the ones i've known made around 300 genuine bhp as did the first batch of 500s.
I believe they made less than 10.
