Fenners for instance always seem to be the most expensive IMHO

Fernies along with RG do tend to command a premium for their cars, however, speaking from experience, I can honestly say that in Fernies case they do present their cars in tip top condition, wanting for nothing and give a second to none service.
Reagarding the latest SE advertised I have to be honest I've never seen it in the flesh, and if its in A1 condition it seems quite cheap compared to others
that have sold recently.
However, Pasco summed it up in his first post on this thread by saying 'condition'.
Don't get me wrong, the latest offering is possibly a perfect car, being sold by it's first owner, who isn't being greedy for a quick sale (which I'm sure it will be at the asking price).
At the end of the day, any car is worth what someone will pay for it.
Eta, I have just noticed also that Fernies have sold a non SE Griff 500 before the factory development car (not strictly an SE but as good as) advertised at the same price. Seems all Griffs are becoming a sound investment

From what i can see there are two or three TVRs which will hold their value over the coming years.
Sagaris
Tuscan 2 convertible
Griff 500 and SE
Condition is the thing people should consider when purchasing having said that i can not see the point of buying a car for it to sit in a garage and not being enjoyed

Couldn't agree more, buy it, drive it, improve it and enjoy it. They weren't built to sit moth balled for years on end.
Bought mine at just 20k on the clock, now has just over 30k on the clock and I struggle to keep under the agreed mileage on my insurance limit !! The more it's driven the better it gets. Griffs don't like sitting in Carcoons getting

As has been stated before condition. The SE Griffs are very rare and desirable cars indeed in the TVR world and it is unusual to see 3 up for sale at the same time.
I know one of the cars for sale which belongs to Reeso and it is definitely worth a look, cracking colour combo, great condition and from what I remember: 1 owner from new, aircon and a huge pile upgrade receipts from Austec.
