Help Needed process for removing front lower wishbones

Hi - wonder if anyone can help - i need to remove the front lower n/s and o/s wishbones on my griff- and am struggling like crazy.

Do i need to remove the upper before i do this - or is there anyway to do this by just pulling the bottom/

Also - is a spring compressor needed for the suspension to do this, or is it at full extention when raised?

Any help much appreciatd..

You can remove the lower front wishbones without removing the uppers. Simply undo the three bolts securing the bottom balljoint you will then need to support the upper and hub. remove the bottom or top shocker bolt( top one is far easier shocker and wishbone will come out as one) and the the two bolts that secure the wishbone to the chassis and thats it no need for spring clamps.

Edit to say you will also need to detach the anti roll bar link.
