I've contacted the seller and he has given me a bit more info than contained in the listing.
Car has a tear to the rear screen.
Service history is sketchy - he has had it serviced to mileage and last given what I would call a full service at Offords at 24k - at his purchase.
Since then it has been serviced by a local garage.
Does anyone know the car? Seller states he is a memeber of the TVRCC, but given the 3k mileage over 8 years I doubt it got out much.
The bodywork doesn't bother me, that I can fix.
He has been vague on the chasis, saying his mechanic gave it a clean bill of health and it passed an MOT.
Ideally, I'd pop along for a look, and tried last weekend but didn't get time/opportunity.
Won't be back in UK till after the listing ends.

£5,500 plus a bit of work makes a cheap 500.
(A lot of work screws this!)

Which leaves chassis and engine.
Engine - yep am happy with 75% of things that could need doing, the other 25% I'd be payinmg for.
Chassis - Hmmm. My welding days are a long way behind me and i wasn't that great in the first place! (More blobs that Noels House Party!)
