I need to change the rocker cover gasket on the near side cover, (the one near the air metering unit). Does anyone know if I need to remove the plenum chamber to do this or can this be done without resorting to such measures?

I'm almost positive you need to remove the plenum top. This isn't a hugely complicated task by all accounts.

Yes you will need to remove the plenum, just remember to clean the face of the plenum and the face it sits on then silicone it done to prevent airleaks.

Thanks guys for your help. Might have known it wouldn't be that straight forward.

It's only 6 x 6mm allen key bolts and you're away. Might need to unplug the stepper motor wires so you can move it out of the way, though. It really is very straightforward.
