7" light conversions

Just finished fitting mine (taken me a while to get round to it - had other things to do...) and wondered if everyone just relied on the sikaflex to hold everything in place given the silly metal brackets TVR used on the originals no longer have anywhere to fit.

Thinking about making some aluminium supports to act as a cradle at the back of the light pods, but will leave the weight off if I can get away with it.

Re-bent the originals on mine... Think I drilled the inner wing for the new bolt position...

I've reshaped mine (vice & hammer engineering!) and they bolt through the wheelarch, but I thought that was original. You never know with the early cars.

Incidentally, if anyone can do it I'd be interested in some ali or stainless wheelarch access covers. Mine have barely any material left where the self tapping screws fit - probably because of ham fisted people with stanley knives cutting out the silicone.

Thanks. Boating through the wheel arch is as original. My car however has quite a lot of stuff inside the inner wings.
