shunting in first

Any insight would be most helpful
In first gear only when i pull away in low revs,i seem to get a judering,shunting feeling,which is most embarising. It doesnt do it when i higher the revs,
other than that the car is tops

Read cOuntless pages all i seem above and beyond my capabilities so me thinks a trip to neil garners is on the cards

Id be more inclined to be looking in the direction of the clutch or flywheel if it's a first gear only from pull-away problem...

If it's just in first, I don't think it sounds like the usual low revs shunting problem as that tends to be in any gear.

Thats very true, the classic shunting is normally worse in the higher gears at around 1700 rpm, so it might well be mechanical.

And normally on the 500's not a 430.

Arrhh...I wondered why mine did that at about 1800 rpm
