Reusing old front end

I'm currently in the process of restoring a 1989 mini flame, it needs all the usual stuff, front floors, inner wings, door hinge panel etc, the front end however is in pretty good shape so my plan was just to reuse the front end if possible.

I'm just wondering has anyone done this or would I just be better off spending the extra cash on heritage panels?.
